Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
This policy explains what Fizz collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Fizz is a platform for deploying sites to servers you control.
Information we collect
- Account data — name, email, password (hashed), and optional profile details you provide.
- Team & workspace data — team names, memberships, and invitations.
- Infrastructure configuration — server metadata, site settings, domains, deployment history, provider connections (e.g. GitHub, DigitalOcean, storage credentials), and similar operational data needed to run the product.
- Usage & logs — product analytics, error reports, and technical logs (IP addresses, user agents, request metadata) that help us operate and secure the service.
How we use it
We use this information to provide and improve the service, authenticate you, deploy and manage your servers and sites as you instruct, send transactional messages (e.g. security or account notices), prevent abuse, and comply with law.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with subprocessors that help us run the product (hosting, email, error monitoring, payments when applicable), when required by law, or to protect rights and safety. Third-party providers you connect (GitHub, cloud providers, etc.) process data under their own policies when you authorize those connections.
Retention
We keep account and configuration data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for backups, disputes, or legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account; some residual logs may remain for security and compliance.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect credentials and data (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please use strong unique passwords and enable available security features such as two-factor authentication.
Your choices
You can update profile information in settings, revoke third-party connections, and request account deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data. Contact us to exercise those rights.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and essential product functionality.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
